“Laptop and Desktop Management System” is a web-based application that is developed in PHP and MySQL servers. It helps customers to book laptops or desktops online. “Laptop and Desktop Management System” contain data on products related to laptop and desktop. The main purpose of the “Laptop and Desktop Management System” is to systematically record, store and update recorded data.

The proposed system is a completely integrated online system. It automates manual procedures in an effective and efficient way. This automated system facilitates customers and provides to fill up the details according to their requirements. The purpose of this system is to develop a website for the people who can book their laptop or desktop along with requirements from any part of the world.

The laptop and desktop Rental Management System is a web application that provides laptops and desktop for rent to the registered users. In this project, we use PHP and MySQL database. It has two modules.

  1. Admin
  2. Users

Admin

  1. Dashboard: In this section, admin can view the brief details of total products which is available for rent and view booking details in briefs.
  2. Brand: In this section, admin can manage brands (Add/Update/Delete).
  3. Products: In this section, admin can manage the laptop and desktop (Add/Update/Delete).
  4. Pages: In this section, the admin can manage about us and contact us pages.
  5. Reg Users: In this section, admin can view detail of registered users.
  6. Booking For Rent: In this section, admin can view total new bookings, total approved bookings, total unapproved bookings, and all bookings. Admin has also the right to approve and unapproved the booking.
  7. Report: In this section, admin can view how many booking has been received, counts of booking and sales of booking in a particular period.
  8. Search: In this section, admin can search laptop and desktop booking by user’s name and Booking Number.

 

Admin can also update his profile, change the password and recover the password. Admin with help of icon bell see the notification of new booking.

Users

  1. Home Page: Users can see the listed laptop and desktops on the home page.
  2. About Us: Users can view about us page.
  3. Laptop: User can view the total laptops available for rent.
  4. Desktop: User can view the total desktop available for rent.
  5. Contact us: Users can view the contact us page.
  6. Login/Register: In this guest, the user can register himself/herself.

Registered Users

  1. Home Page: Users can see the listed laptop and desktops on the home page.
  2. About Us: Users can view the about us page.
  3. Laptop: User can view total laptop available for rent.
  4. Desktop: User can view total desktop available for rent.
  5. Contact us: Users can view the contact us page.
  6. My Booking: In this user can view the detail of the booking like the status of booking, how much cost will be taken, and also take a print of the invoice.
  7. My Account: The user can update his/her profile, change the password and recover the password.
